TEACHER APPRECIATION SUMMER GIFT IDEA

My love for teachers is strong. I could come up with a million gift ideas for these magical people of the world. I do have a few ideas on the blog if you wanted to check them out [HERE]. For this gift idea, I wanted to create a simple “summer themed” Teacher Appreciation Gift Basket. Teacher Appreciation week is the first full week in May. This year it is May 8-12, 2023. I love to give thoughtful, seasonal gifts throughout the year and typically the gift is themed with an upcoming holiday with a splash of school supplies. Since it’s the end of the school year and the last thing a teacher wants right now is school supplies, I’ve put together a summer-themed gift set with things that they can enjoy over the summer break.

I’ve said this a thousand times, but I’ll say it again… I would rather gift someone a themed creative gift basket than just throwing something inside a paper bag with tissue. Since we are thinking summer I needed something fun to use as the “gift bag,” so I have created a collage below of some staple summer items that would be FUN to use for your Teacher appreciation gift bag (instead of a bag). I went with a sand bucket for our teachers this year. You could also do age appropriate things for your teacher. For example, an older teacher with no young kids might not care about a sand bucket. But you could find something to put the items in that she or he might actually utilize. I found this sand bucket and ABC stickers at my local Dollar Tree and I thought that would be so cute to create an ABC “teacher” themed sand bucket.

Now, the fun part… you just fill the beach bucket with your teacher’s favorite things. Not sure what your teacher’s favorites are? I GOT YOU COVERED! CLICK HERE for a free printable to have your teacher fill out anytime during the school year. Then when it comes to gift giving … your job is a whole lot easier. Usually at Meet the Teacher or on the first day of school when I walk my son into school, I bring the printed form and teachers typically send it home with my child within the week. When I create gifts for them throughout the year I don’t have to think about what they like, I already have a whole list directly from them!

I hope you find some inspiration from this teacher appreciation gift idea and all my others ideas on my blog. I would love to know what you give your teachers for teacher appreciation week! If you love to gift for teachers, admins, and staff, make sure you are following along as I spoil them all year long!

xoxo,

Ashton
