BACK TO SCHOOL BREAKFAST

Well.. school is officialy back in session and it’s bitter sweet for many of reasons. #1. I get extremely sad that my boys are back in school and summer has come to an end… but #2. All the holidays are among us with cool weather and that brings me so much joy! As sad as it is that summer has come to an end… I like to use this opportunity to celebrate all the amazing doors that will open in the upcoming year for the boys. We truly celebrate going back to school… SCHOOL IS COOL RIGHT!

TABLE SETTING

1. I used brown paper and created a “ruler” as a table runner.
2. I used scrapbook paper as a placemat.
3. I found the red, yellow and red polka dot plates… (I thought they were fun for back to school colors…this is NOT our school colors)
4. Fun vintage inspired milk glasses
5. Mini chalk boards with a cute note… because I’m extra as hell!

BREAKFAST

1. This board is perfect for simple events like this.
2. Add your favorite fruit. and any of your kids favorite foods. I went to Shipleys the night before (considering we had to wake up at 5:30) and got some donuts.
3. I created a fun buffalo plaid garland out of scrapbook paper to add some texture.
4. I created a fun flash card chandelier. (printable here)

1. Made a cute simple centerpiece with pencils & rulers and eucalyptus steam.

2. I used table clothes to create some color on the wall.. and honestly if I did it again.. I would cut slits up the top.

3. I found this super cute pencil banner.
