FRIDAY FAVS – March 24, 2023
Good morning and happy fabulous Friday everyone!!! I can’t wait to share my favs for the week with you. Last week was super low key as it was spring break. But this week.. full force of Favs! If you are new to my blog, each week on Friday I share my personal favorite items for the week. Everything this week clearly appears to be fashion. It’s not often that I fall in love with clothing. It’s just hard being a curvy girl and honestly I don’t buy a lot of clothes because I hate trying them on. So when I actually do and ACTUALLy fall in love with it on my body .. I HAVE TO SHARE!
FRIDAY FAV#1: CLEARANCE MOM JEAN: (for starters I love a good clearance find) FACTS..I am a curvy comfort girl. My go to look is leggings and I’ve shared my FAVORITE Amazon ones that are literal LULUlemon dupes [LINKED HERE], but I’m trying to expand my horizons and have a little bit of fashion sense. I typically don’t order things online because of my body type and every pair of jeans fits me so differently. But, while shopping on Abercrombie for Easter gifts for boys, I decided to look at the clearance section. If you don’t do that y’all, you must start, you can find the best items on clearance. If you didn’t know… the “MOM JEAN” is a whole tread and again, I’m trying to be on trend, so between these being on clearance and they are trending.. I AM WINNING! These jeans are so cute and I love the white washed color for spring and summer. Another problem I have when finding pants is that when they fit in the waist they don’t fit in the length because I’m so short. Most all Abercrombie jeans I’ve seen online have a “short” option. I would definitely size up from your normal size though. I love the distressing and details. I have attached a picture of me in them from front and back. For size reference, I am 5’1″ and weigh 210 and I bought a size 32.
FRIDAY FAV #2: AMAZON COZY DRESS: As I stated above, I’m really trying to broaden my horizons when it comes to fashion and 99% of the time I am always in leggings an oversized tee and either vans or Birkenstocks. As cozy and “cute” as that might be .. I’m bored and I just feel like I always look frumpy and lazy! So, next cozy level, but with a splash of class is A DRESS! I found this dress on Amazon and I’m obsessed. I feel like it is so flattering! You could make this dress as casual as you want or dress it up as much as you want. It’s the perfect mom dress. My personal favorite way to style this dress is with some cozy shoes [RECENT WALMART FAVS-UNDER $20] and take an oversized tee and tuck it under my bra. It gives the look of the mini skirt and I love it. This dress fits true to size and I am wearing a Large for reference. I love the brown button detail on this black one but it comes in so many different prints and colors as well. It’s very lightweight and it the perfect Spring/Summer dress.
FRIDAY FAV #3: RAINBOW CARDIGAN: I was searching on Amazon for “spring cardigans” and I came across this beautiful PIECE! So I have worn this cardigan out in public a total of 4 times and the amount of compliments I have gotten on this cardigan is absolutely INSANE! I believe I have received as many compliments on this one cardigan in those 4 times as I have with any of my clothes I’ve worn in my life! It’s bright and colorful and so fun especially for spring! The fun thing about a cardigan like this is the amount of outfits you could wear with it is ENDLESS. I am wearing a Large and it fits, I honestly even believe I could size down.
