Old Baldy Park

What if I told you… you could see all of Texas Hill Country beauty just by climbing a few steps in Wimberley, TX. Old Baldy Park (also know as Prayer Mountain) is just a short drive from downtown Wimberley. It is a 218 limestones steps climb to a paved limestone with 360 BREATHTAKING views of Texas hill country! The park is a small one so you won’t be spending a SUPER lot of time but the views are worth it.

Now… I’m not going to lie to you… I struggled a bit. But they have a few ledges and limestone seats for you to sit and catch you breath. NO I DID NOT SIT DOWN.. but I did stay on a ledge or 2 to rest for a second. And as I barely made it up 1 time… there were others on their 10th trip up. All I have to say is GOOOOD FOR YOU!!! But really… it was amazing and worth it and I would do it all over again.

HERE IS A VIDEO OF THIS MUST SEE PARK & SOME FUN PICTURES WE TOOK!!

LOVE YOU!XOXO ~ASHTON
