St. Patrick’s Day Chocolate Chip Cookies

Looking for a festive and delicious St. Patrick’s Day cookie? These cookies are not only pretty to look at, they are mouthwatering delicious and are the perfect addition to your St. Patrick’s Day festivities or parties!!! You could even create this recipe for any holiday or occasion by switching out the colors of the M&M’s. Honestly this cookie recipe alone with just the chocolate chips is heaven in your mouth!

Obviously for this recipe to be “festive” for St. Patrick’s Day you need GREEN M&M’s. Last time I made mint flavored and my husband wasn’t a fan so this year I found Key Lime Pie flavored M&Ms in the seasonal isle at the grocery store. Key Lime pie flavored M&M’s come out this time of year with Valentine’s Day and Easter, so check the seasonal aisle. But, if you are a mint lover, you can always find Mint M&M’s in the candy isle at the grocery store or anywhere that has a candy aisle. If I was to create this again, I would opt for PLAIN green M&M’s, because this cookie recipe itself is divine and I hate for it to ROBBED by the flavor of the key Lime or mint. That’s just my personal opinion because honestly I do not like either of those flavors. I found solid green M&M’s sold by M&M on Amazon- [LINKED HERE]

This time of year there is a lot of baking going on in my house, especially as a content creator. So 99% of the time, I bake something and send it on its way. If you have read my previous blog posts, most everything I bake is given to someone else. These cookies took a road trip to my Husband’s fire station and they enjoyed every bite! I actually love to bake for others when I know they will enjoy it. It’s so rewarding. I also love baking yummy treats for my sons’ school teachers and admin staff. You can never go wrong with a homemade gift especially something that is delicious!

I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do. And of course, I did taste my creation. I feel like being a taste-tester is a job requirement! If you try this recipe please let me know your thoughts, I love feedback from others. Our next holiday is Easter and I am so excited to share all the fun content we have planned! Thanks for watching and make sure you are following me so you don’t miss any of my creations and DIYs.
