VALENTINE’S DATE NIGHT – AT HOME

One thing that has helped my husband and I have a strong connection & bond is that we are constantly trying to find ways to connect. I’ll be honest… I am always the one arranging everything we do … but he ALWAYS participates in anything and everything I arrange for us. I think it is so important to continue to get to know your spouse. Even as adults we are constantly changing!

We love these at home date nights… for multiple reasons. It is so hard to find a sitter, so we love that we can just do them at home and still have our alone time in the comfort of our home. The kids understand…we just explain mommy & daddy are going to have quiet time. This Valentine’s tent date was so fun.. below I will show you everything you need to have the perfect romantic at home date night.

SUPPLIES:

  1. Snacks… I think sweet snacks are the perfect touch. (You could even cook a yummy romantic candle light dinner.) (below is video how I made mine)
  2. Fresh flowers… I feel that fresh flowers help just set the mood for the night. Y’all know I love faux flowers because they are budget friendly but for special nights like this I will splurge a little more.
  3. Candles… candles just put off the perfect romantic vibes
  4. Throw pillows & blankets (just from around the house)
  5. DIY tent… I made ours out of fishing line I fastened to the wall & king sheet.
  6. Last I think its fun if you play a game or have questions to ask each other… maybe even a fun truth or dare… that way too there are no awkward moments. I have attached below some of my favorite questions.
