Fall Dollar Tree Garland

Today I partnered with a few girls on instagram and we all created a fun and easy Dollar Tree DIY fall related. This one is a classic to me… I did it last year and I just love the simplicity of it and with the vintage book pages it helps create a vintage vibe.

SUPPLIES NEED-All at the DOLLAR TREE:

  1. Burlap leaves (Dollar Tree has a few color options)
  2. Twine
  3. Clothes pins
  4. Scissors
  5. Book (Dollar Tree sells books and you can age the pages)

STEP #1:

I put the clothes pins in pot on stove with some tea. The tea helps to create an aged and vintage look to them. So they don’t look so NEW!

STEP #2:

I traced the the burlap leaf on a book page. Then went back and outlined smaller leaf on the traced leaf. That way when the book page is on top of the burlap leaf it creates a layered look with 2 different size with same shape.

STEP #3:

I tied a knot around the clothes pin with the twine and then just clipped the leaves.

STEP #4:

Style your beautiful creation. Honestly the possibilities and what you could do with this garland are endless.

  1. Dollar Tree DIYs are my favorite and this one is gorgeous! Definitely going to have to try this out!!

  2. You’re one of my favorite accounts to follow because of the fact that you decorate with reasonably priced decor and do a ton of cheap DIYS! I love watching you flip things you thrifted or bought from the dollar tree! I hate following accounts that only post things that are hella expensive! Also you’re so real and i enjoy your daily stories! Thank youuu!
