FRIDAY FAVS – March 31, 2023
Good morning and happy fabulous Friday everyone!!! I can’t wait to share my favs for the week with you. It’s so hard not to share the same thing over and over because I just love them so much!
FRIDAY FAV#1: CHECKERED BLANKET- I originally ordered the black and white checkered blanket for Dalton (my oldest son) and, I’m not going to lie, Christian (youngest son) and I constantly steal it. So….I thought it was time I ordered some for the couch. We are a cozy and cuddly family and love to keep our house cold so we all love a good throw blanket. At all times there are about 3 throw blankets on our couch. Some of my favorite blankets were bought from Walmart [LINKED HERE]. I love leopard prints but this checkered blanket has always had my heart. Plus it is a total trend right now AND I’M SO HERE FOR IT! These blankets are so buttery soft and I’m obsessed! [PINK CHECKERED] [BEIGE CHECKERED] [BLACK & WHITE CHECKERED]
FRIDAY FAV#2: WHITE SNEAKERS– If you have been around here for a hot minute you know I’m a casual/comfort girl all day every day. I am a bigger girl, so I’m very picky when it comes to my shoes. After wearing something one time… I know REAL QUICK if they are going to work. My checkered vans have been a staple in my closet for years and I swear those are the most comfortable shoes on the planet, I have never felt anything comparable until trying my new Walmart sneakers that look JUST like my white vans for not even a quarter of the price. When I find something that is not only comfortable but affordable it is a double win!!! THESE RUN TTS. As you can see… I’ve worn these just about everyday! I’m slightly obsessed.
FRIDAY FAV#3: FLOWER POWER SLIDES– Shoes seem to be the talk for the week but I placed a Walmart order a couple of weeks ago to try some of their spring shoes and these adorable retro slides and white shoes have been my go-to daily! The slides are so comfy & perfect for spring and summer and all the fun family destinations, like the pools, beaches and parties. I love when I find shoes that come in multiple colors because you can pair them with so many things! These do run TTS. These are honestly my favorite to wear around the house also as house shoes.
FRIDAY FAV#4: MY STANLEY– I know … I feel like everyone in the world is tired of hearing bout Stanleys, but for me this bad boy helps me in so many ways. I will tell you a couple of things that were a selling point for me. I am the worst about my water intake-THE WORST. This cup has been a game changer. I know some of this stuff might sound crazy but it has tricked my mind and I’m drinking so much more water than I used to. PS this cup is my most recent purchase. I bought it for Halloween… the Halloween queen obviously has to have an orange cup!
- I am not a fan of drinking out of straw…only when I go out to eat which isn’t a lot. But the constant “sucking” on the straw causes wrinkles, so finding a cup that has a non straw option was a win for me.
- I love the handle… I know it sounds cheesy but when I’m in a hurry I need to carry multiple things. I love carrying it with a handle vs. having to hold it like a newspaper.
- I love the fact it fits in my cup holder. Cups I’ve owned in the past that didn’t have a straw never fit in my cup holder. I am much more likely to drive down the road and grab my cup with a handle and drink it.
