It’s a new month and that means new date night, so with it being FALL I’m so ready for this date night! All the stunning colors, cozy sweaters, warm drinks, and lots and lots of cuddling. Sounds perfect right? Planning a date night for “Fall” can be so fun and therapeutic because with all the adventurous activities, spooky nights, and crisp air, the possibilities are endless. Below I have a list of additional “Fall Date Night Ideas”.

I’m going to be completely transparent when I say these date nights are exactly what I needed. We never used to go on dates, not because we didn’t want to, we just value our time with our children and feel so guilty for dropping them off. So the fact that we can have these date nights at our house is amazing and to be honest, I can’t believe I didn’t think of this sooner! Setting aside time for each other has completely changed the way we connect and for that reason one of the most meaningful parts of our marriage.

So when I thought about a “Fall Date Night” … I was thinking it had to be something outside that involved enjoying mother nature’s beauty. Theses Texas nights are finally cooling off so I wanted to enjoy it. What could be more fun than an “Outdoor Date Night”? When it came to setting up for our “Fall Date Night”.. its important to make sure I incorporated those “Fall” touches. Meaning… cozy blankets & pillows, fall colors, pumpkins, and candles. Listed below are some of the items I used. Reminder… this doesn’t have to cost ANYTHING… this cost me a total of……$0!!!

SUPPLIES USED:

  1. BASE LAYER- A blanket or rug to lay down as a base… I used a rug I got for cheap from dirt cheap for $10
  2. THROW PILLOWS- Pillows to lay on. (pictured are these orange ones & my famous $2 Target pillows-not linkable)
  3. THROW BLANKET- this is a must for cozy vibes…
  4. SET THE MOOD- Candles are a must because they instantly set the mood. I usually find all mine from local thrift stores
  5. PUMPKINS- As it is fall of course I had to add some pumpkins. Here are my pumpkins:
    1. 6.5″ white pumpkin
    2. 9″ white pumpkin
    3. 13″ white pumpkin
  6. FLORALS- I just used my mums from my front porch that I picked up from a local nursery.Lowes and Home Depot start selling them around the beginning of September.
  7. FOOD- I just made a charcuterie board with our favorite snacks. If your extra then check out my Taco obsessed board!
  8. BONUS- I created a Date Night Question Jar after doing research searching for some random questions that I honestly didn’t know about my husband… I also made sure to throw in some “kiss me”, “rub my back” in there too! I wrote these on a piece of paper and put them in a mason jar. This is honestly wild to me because as much as I “think” I know him… there is still so much I still don’t know about him.
