Best Thrift Stores in Crosby Texas
If you’ve been around here for a while, you already know that I thrive on a good thrifting road trip. I can sniff out an antique booth from a mile away, spot a blow mold like it’s my sixth sense, and make a $200 budget stretch across counties like magic. So when I tell you that this week’s adventure to Crosby was one of the best thrifting days I’ve had all year, trust me… it was that good.
Crosby actually wasn’t even on the agenda at first….I was actually headed back to Dayton for a Lamp I saw last week that I couldn’t stop thinking about! Earlier in the week, Mom and I drove all the way to Lake Charles to go to 30+ Thrift/Antique Stores (Wanna see the haul and all the places we went- READ HERE) and set a strict $200 budget for myself. And I stuck to it… but I walked away from one floral lamp for only $24 in Dayton that I have not stopped thinking about since. You know that feeling….the THRIFT REGRET… The worst feeling ever!!!. The thing you should have bought but didn’t. The piece you can still see in your head 48 hours later. Yeah, that lamp haunted me.
So today, Chris and I got in the truck….and made the drive back to Dayton but on the way since we had the time… we turned it into a full Thrifting Thursday in Crosby, Texas. And let me tell you: the thrift gods were with us today. Almost every store was a hit. We found treasures. To a point where it was TO MANY!!! We found deals. We found vintage Christmas. We found blow molds. We found the kind of bizarre little trinkets that only a true thrifter appreciates. And yes ….I got the lamp. Don’t you worry BOO… I didn’t get to distracted!
So if you are headed to Crosby to thrift… This guide is for YOU…. whether you’re traveling through East Texas, planning a thrifting day trip from Houston, or hunting specifically for vintage Christmas décor like me. I’m no longer gatekeeping the good spots. So bookmark this post, grab your tote bags, and get ready to shop.

Complete Crosby Texas Thrifting Route
This route covers the best thrift stores Crosby Texas visitors can explore in one easy day trip.
STOP 1: GOODWILL – (Address: 14530 FM 2100)
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Price Level: 💲
Keyword Anchor: thrift stores near Houston, East Texas thrifting
We officially kicked off our route in Willis at one of my all-time favorite Goodwill locations. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is one of the cleanest, most organized, and highest-quality Goodwills in the greater Houston area. Everything was sorted, shelves weren’t overcrowded, and the employees clearly take pride in keeping the store flowing and visually tidy.
What I loved:
• Tons of brand-name clothing in excellent condition
• New-in-package items sprinkled throughout
• A surprisingly good selection of books, many of them newer releases
• An entire aisle of seasonal pieces — including VINTAGE CHRISTMAS (aka my weakness)
My haul here alone was worth the trip. I spent just $57 and walked out with a cart full of curated items that felt more like consignment finds than basic thrift.
If you are thrifting anywhere near North Houston or East Texas, put this Goodwill on your list.

STOP 2: TIME & AGAIN RESALE– (Address- 2514 Krenek Rd)
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Price Level: 💲💲
Time & Again Resale instantly won me over. It’s made up of two smaller buildings, but don’t let that fool you — these two little spots pack a punch. The moment we walked in, the staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely happy we were there. That alone makes such a huge difference in the thrifting experience.
Inside, it felt like the perfect blend of curated vintage and true thrift. You know those stores where you can tell the owners actually love old things? That’s the vibe here.
What we found:
• Amazing older items tucked into the back rooms
• Vintage metal trays
• Blow mold pieces (!!!)
• Trinkets, collectibles, and old Christmas décor
• Good-quality furniture pieces
• A fresh, clean smell — a miracle for thrift stores
The pricing was fair — not rock-bottom cheap, but definitely reasonable for the quality and variety. This is one of the best thrift stores in Crosby, Texas for people who love vintage décor, retro holiday pieces, and charming small shop energy.

FOOD STOP- STOP 3: OFF THE STREET BBQ – (Address: 6803 FM 2100)
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐
Keyword Anchor: things to do in Crosby Texas
After a couple of stores, we needed food — and this was SUCH a good find. Off the Street BBQ is exactly how a local barbecue spot should be: simple, good, flavorful, and satisfying. We ordered:
• Side: Mac and cheese- delish!
• Side: Potato salad- not my vibe- it was mashed- 0 potatoes chunks… TASTED like deviled egg filling
• Meal: Chopped beef sandwiches & Loaded Baked Potatoe- Delish
• Dessert: Banana pudding (the star of the day)
The banana pudding alone deserves a write-up. It was the perfect thrift-day treat — creamy, not too sweet, piled high, and exactly what you want after digging through dusty antique booths. If you’re spending the day thrifting in Crosby, add this place to your route.

STOP 4: RUSTY BUCKET – (Address- 5307 S Main St)
Rating: ⭐⭐
Price Level: 💲💲💲
Okay …. transparency time. This one wasn’t my favorite. The Rusty Bucket had more of a “Hobby Lobby meets farmhouse décor” vibe than true thrift or antique shopping. A large chunk of the items felt mass-produced rather than vintage, and the true antiques they did have were priced on the higher end.
Things we noticed:
• A lot of new décor mixed in
• True vintage was limited
• Prices were higher compared to other stops
• Store was clean and smelled nice, so that’s a plus
• Small trinkets were cute (I grabbed a checkered creamer)
Would I go back? Maybe — but it wouldn’t be my first stop.

STOP 5: CROSBY ANTIQUE MALL – ( Address- 5613 S Main St.)
Rating: ⭐
Price Level: 💲💲💲
This antique mall was deff something. Little overwhelming at times because there is so much everywhere! The moment we walked in, we knew we’d be here a while. It’s the exact kind of place where every booth feels like a different world. I was hopeful based on the amount of stuff upon entering but I will tell you the booth in the very back were the best. It’s a maze to get back there.
What we found:
• Tons of collectible glass, including uranium glass
• Vintage Christmas- I grabbed a cute table top blow mold
• Unique furniture pieces
• Holiday items, blow molds, tree skirts
• Booths filled with nostalgia
• Sports memorabilia, toy cars, old signage
• A ton of small knickknacks and trinkets
• Great variety across vendors
The only downside? It was HOT. Like Texas-in-a-warehouse hot. But we powered through because I was determined to find the goods.
I left with a blow mold and a tree skirt I’m absolutely obsessed with.

STOP 6: 2ND TIME AROUND RESALE SHOP – (Address- 516 Sundown Meadow)
Rating: ⭐
Price Level: 💲
I’m going to be honest … this one wasn’t great. Upon entry I was side because it look like piles of junk that I could dig through and find treasures. But upon digging… wasn’t much in my opinion especially for some of the prices I saw on things. So the “Thrift Store” is at what one would think are the offices for the storage units behind it… so the items felt more like leftovers from storage units than curated thrift.
Pros:
• Cheap prices
• Easy to browse quickly
Cons:
• Very disorganized
• No standout items
• Nothing that felt unique or vintage
• Felt like thrift store but didn’t find the “thrift treasures”

THE LAMP THAT GOT AWAY (AND HOW I GOT HER BACK)
Now… let me talk about the lamp.
A few days before, when I was in Lake Charles, I drove through Dayton as part of my $200 budget challenge driving southeast through Texas to Louisiana. I saw the floral lamp. The most gorgeous vintage lamp with a romantic pattern and warm glow… the kind of lamp that makes you want to curl up with a good book.
But I didn’t buy it.
And I regretted it immediately.
DO NOT ASK ME WHY… no one not even myself will ever understand the decisions I make! ha!
So today, after hitting Crosby, we drove straight to Dayton. I called yesterday to make sure it was still there and asked if I could pay over the phone.. they said yes but I had 3 days to get it! It now has a forever home with me, and every time I look at it, I’m so glad I trusted my thrifting soul and went back. The location is called : Resale Shack- 307 Depot St … it truly is a cute store! They said they get stuff in daily!

MY FULL HAUL
This was one of my best hauls all in a day!!!!!
I found:
• A blow mold
• A hand made quilted tree skirt
• Unique trays
• Christmas décor
• Vintage knickknacks
• Home décor
• Some random mini santa
• And of course …the lamp
