St. Patricks Day – End of the Rainbow Pot of Gold
Creating family traditions is the best! My only regret… wishing I started when my boys were younger! I feel like I am playing catch up with a lot of traditions especially because of pinterest!!! I get inspired daily on that app! My most recent new tradition is the having the “Leprechaun” visit the boys! This will be the first year the “Leprechaun” is coming and I’m not going to lie I’m excited!
It doesn’t take alot of money to make things special and always remember it is the thought that counts. I found these adorable green cauldrons and thought they would be perfect. And to keep the whole St. Patricks day theme.. I decided to do “green themed” items. I just add items I knew they loved! So their favorite snacks and drinks that are green themed it perfect! One thing I have gotten alot better at when gifting or shopping for my boys is I’m very intentional. I don’t just buy junk just to say I bought something. I make sure it’s items I would have already been buying! For instance most of these items they can pack in their lunch or snack on around the house.
I decided to make it a little more extra with a DIY RAINBOW because at the end of every rainbow is a pot of gold right! So I found red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple crepe paper and twisted it for effects. Balloons serve at the perfect clouds, so I just used my electric balloon pump from Amazon to blow those up quickly and created the perfect rainbow. The boys were so surprised and absolutely loved.
St. Patricks Day is March 17 (same day every year)… so this would be so adorable for the kids to wake up to this the morning of. If you are looking for more St. Patricks Day inspiration I have ALOT more St. Patricks day ideas. I hope you enjoyed this DIY!
