Moody Pink Bedroom Makeover

Room of my DREAMS!!! I honestly don’t even know where to start on this beauty! She is like a whole vibe and she deserves an Oscar! Before I show you her gorgeousness… I feel like we have to appreciate what she once was. So my husband lived in this house 2 years prior to me with 2 ex wives & a few ladies. So to say I was ready for a facelift AND A NEW BED.. is an understatement! 10 Years later… I got the room of my dreams and FINALLY a new bed! I guess good things really do come to those who wait! HA! I never thought I would say that!! I seriously have 0 patience… so that fact that I waited 10 years for this makeover & NEW BED… I deserve an OSCAR! I will give him this HE purchased this house on his own and this bed set and he used to tell me … I’m not getting rid of a perfectly good bed set. I feel like it was more sentimental more than anything. BUT ANYWAYS… let’s take a trip down memory lane!

So this view is with wife #1 & #2…. pretty boring if you ask me!!!! But we will just say… “this was the style back then”.. because you are about to laugh when. you see MY MAKEOVERS!

So… when I look at this picture I cannot help but LAUGH!!! FROM THE COTTON in the galvanized bucks… to the huge flowers on the bed… I mean I was trying really hard! Haaaa!! So I found this white quilt at Walmart & I loved her & this beautiful fuzzy pink rug at ross for only $99. This Throw was my ABSOLUTE FAV and I was so upset when this rug and blanket were ruined in the flood.

HEYYY GIRL!!! So… Joanna and Chip liked shiplap & it was a whole trend so I obviously had to get shiplap!! Pink has always been a vibe in our room. CHRIS LOVES PINK!! I’ve always loved layering rugs… this jute rug was A FAV TOO!! again ruined in the flood! I did add these pink curtains and found these gold lamps at a thrifty store & seriously thought she was so cute!!!

Then… THE FLOOD!!! Came all thew new things!!! Got a new bed … and some new bedding… BORING WHITE WALLS!

Chris said this room needed some color so I decided to add picture frame molding and paint it the same color as our bathroom- pressed flower 50%

THEN… we decided this room needed more SPUNK!!!So we painted the whole room.. baseboards, ceiling and shoe mold SAME COLOR!!!

But… then once everything was painted… I felt like the picture frame molding needed to be carried throughout the whole room1!! BEST DECISION EVER!!! IT JUST FLOWS!!!
