The Ultimate March Bucket List 2026: Spring Aesthetic & Lifestyle Ideas

march bucket list

Letโ€™s be real for a second: March is basically the “Thursday” of the year. Weโ€™re halfway to spring, everyone is suddenly obsessed with being 2% Irish. Also, weโ€™re all trying to figure out how to wear a cute green cardigan without looking like a literal garden gnome.

But honestly? Iโ€™m leaning into it. This year, we arenโ€™t just “getting through” March; weโ€™re romanticizing it. Weโ€™re thrift-flipping, weโ€™re manifesting, and yes, weโ€™re probably reading a western romance. Itโ€™s the kind that makes us want to move to a ranch in Montana and marry a man named Caleb who only speaks in brooding silences.

Grab your iced matcha (with extra foam, obviously) and letโ€™s dive into the Official March Bucket List.

1. Picnic on the First Day of Spring

2. DIY St. Patrickโ€™s Day Craft

Put down the hot glue gun and step away from the glitter. Weโ€™re doing elevated DIYs this year. Think shamrock garlands made of linen or a hand-painted banner that doesnโ€™t look like it belongs in a kindergarten classroom. Weโ€™re aiming for “Anthropologie sale section,” not “last minute at the dollar store.” If you want some “Leporcahn Energy” I have a full blog post for a “End of the Rainbow Pot of Gold” [BLOG POST HERE].

3. Read a Western Romance Book

If the cover doesn’t feature a man in a Stetson with a suspiciously well-maintained beard, I donโ€™t want it. There is something about March that just screams Cowboy Core. Whether heโ€™s a grumpy rancher or a rodeo star with a heart of gold, weโ€™re reading it, weโ€™re blushing, and weโ€™re definitely adding “buy a horse” to our Pinterest boards.

4. Visit a Rodeo

Speaking of cowboys, itโ€™s time to see the real deal. Put on your bootsโ€”the ones that hurt your feet but make your legs look amazingโ€”and head to a rodeo. Thereโ€™s something about the smell of dirt, the sound of country music, and the sight of men being thrown off bulls that really clears the sinuses.

5. Make a St. Patrickโ€™s Day Treat

Listen, Iโ€™m not a chef, but I am a connoisseur of things that taste like sugar and luck. If you want the absolute god-tier festive snack, you have to check out my [Lucky Charms Parfait Recipe]. Itโ€™s crunchy, itโ€™s creamy, and itโ€™s basically a bowl of childhood nostalgia with a chic upgrade. Itโ€™s the kind of treat that makes you feel like you found the pot of gold without having to actually do any cardio.

6. Wear Green on St. Patrickโ€™s Day

If someone pinches you because you arenโ€™t wearing green, you are legally allowed to sue them (don’t quote me on that). But letโ€™s avoid the neon “Kiss Me Iโ€™m Irish” shirts. Weโ€™re going for Sage, Forest, or Emerald.
If youโ€™re struggling to find the perfect shade, Iโ€™ve got you covered. I put together an [Amazon Fashion Shopping Guide] full of the cutest green sneakers, accessories, and fits that wonโ€™t make you look like a mascot for a cereal brand. Those green high-tops? Mandatory.

7. Write a Spring Manifestation List

March is for the dreamers. Grab a cute notebook, sit by a window, and write down everything you want to attract this season. Do you want a promotion? A new apartment? A cowboy who actually texts back? Write it down. The universe canโ€™t give you what you want if you donโ€™t askโ€”and if you don’t use a cute pen, it doesn’t count.

8. Paint a Thrifted Vase

Go to the thrift store, find the ugliest, most dated ceramic vase they have (you know the oneโ€”it probably has dusty fake ivy on it), and give it a makeover. Some matte paint, a little baking soda for texture, and suddenly you have a “vintage-inspired” masterpiece. Itโ€™s called upcycling, look it up.

9. Start Spring Cleaning

I know, I know. “Cleaning” isn’t exactly a fun bucket list item. But there is something incredibly cathartic about throwing away that moisturizer you havenโ€™t used since 2022 and organizing your closet by color. Put on a podcast, drink a gallon of water, and purge the clutter. Your soul (and your floor) will thank you.

10. Thrift Something Green + Style It

The ultimate March challenge: find a green piece at the thrift store that doesn’t look like it belonged to a 1970s gym teacher. A silk slip dress? A chunky knit cardigan? Once you find it, style it with your favorite denim and those Amazon sneakers we talked about.
